Frequently Asked Questions

What websites can I screenshot?

You can screenshot any publicly accessible website. Pages behind logins, paywalls, or requiring authentication cannot be captured. Some websites may block automated screenshot tools.

What's the difference between viewport and full page?

Viewport capture shows only what's visible on screen at the specified dimensions (like what you see without scrolling). Full page capture scrolls through the entire page and stitches it into one tall image.

Why should I add a delay?

Some websites load content dynamically using JavaScript after the initial page load. Adding a delay (2-5 seconds is usually enough) allows time for images, fonts, and interactive elements to fully render before the screenshot is taken.

Which format should I choose?

PNG offers lossless quality and is best for screenshots with text or graphics. JPEG produces smaller files but may show compression artifacts. WebP offers the best of both worlds with excellent compression and quality, though it's not supported by all older software.

How long are screenshots stored?

Screenshots are available for download for 24 hours after capture. After that, they're automatically deleted from our servers. We recommend downloading your screenshots immediately after capture.
