The challenge
A legacy Python monolith had become harder to scale and more expensive to maintain as the team grew. Release cycles were slow and operational incidents were increasing.
What we did
We re-architected the platform into cloud-native services on AWS ECS, improved deployment pipelines, and introduced structured observability. The migration was phased to avoid business disruption.
The outcome
p95 API latency dropped from 1.2s to 720ms, deployment cycles shortened, and the team gained a foundation they could build on without the previous operational drag.
The challenge
The client needed a faster, more reliable checkout experience capable of handling growth. The existing system was slow to change and struggled under traffic spikes.
What we did
We rebuilt the checkout flow with a headless Astro frontend and Stripe integrations, then deployed to CloudFront with zero-downtime release tooling in place.
The outcome
Post-launch revenue grew 3× as conversion improved and the platform handled peak traffic without incidents. The team could ship new features significantly faster.
The challenge
Sensitive patient data needed stronger access controls, encryption, and a full audit trail to meet compliance requirements and reduce operational risk.
What we did
We designed a secure AWS data pipeline with IAM boundary controls, encryption at rest and in transit, audit logging, and a governance model the internal team could own going forward.
The outcome
The client achieved a GDPR-conscious architecture with complete operational visibility and a documented compliance posture presentable to auditors and partners.

Cross-Platform Desktop Software
We build desktop applications when browser-based tools are not enough, especially for users who need performance, local file access, offline workflows, or privacy-first data handling. DC QueryStudio is a direct example: a cross-platform database client with an embedded AI assistant aware of the actual schema, ERD generation, and multi-format export — running entirely local with no cloud dependency.

Internal Tools & Data Systems
Many of the most impactful projects we deliver are internal: operations dashboards, admin portals, data pipelines, and custom tooling built for specific team workflows. These are rarely glamorous but consistently high-value. The same engineering discipline shows in DC Studio: 13 media tools, fully local, no uploads, no accounts, and no subscriptions.
